Shoe Sketch Book

I spend a lot of time drawing and painting, drawing never feels like work! I think it is something that allows me to dream and disconnect.  There are different reasons I use drawing in my studio practise, some work is more technical design and I would be considering a commercial end, while other sketches are more free and would never be made, so I allow myself more freedom.  Although almost all the shoes would be possible to realise in three dimension.  Here are some of my favourite sketches. These are made using Indian ink and quill diffused with soft paint brushes and water.  Hope you like my inky thoughts.
