Special Order
Sometimes I am asked to make special order items in multiples. This order was an absolute pleasure to create! The client was a boutique hotel who wanted a set of room key fobs, and like the rooms each needed to have an individual look, that would work in harmony with the existing feeling of this special place.
This place is called Hotel Can Talaias in Ibiza. The former home of British icon Terry Thomas. I have been visiting Can Talaias with my family for many years and it always feels like home returning there, most especially the spring months (May is a beautiful time to visit!). If you want to discover the real Ibiza away from noisy crowded beaches and dip your toe back into chic 60's bohemian heaven then book a room here. Set on top of a hill above the village of San Carlos, it has the best view on the Island. Like a home from home!
I used high grade vegetable leather, then lined the back with kid suede, each one with a different colour and pattern. The suedes I use are all foil embossed with either my signature stripe or splash, these are all unique to Georgina Goodman. Then I have hand cut the leather to create a fringe, then rolled and secured to make a tassel. Each key ring is then marked with its name.
